Caleb Williams, QB USC Trojans (+350)
Williams has been the frontrunner this entire season and is tied with Pennix Jr. on the BetMGM Heisman Trophy Future board. Williams is coming off his best game of the season, throwing for 322 yards with three TDs in the Trojans’ 42-28 away victory over Arizona State.
Next up for Williams: USC travels to Boulder for a Pac-12 matchup with a Colorado defense that allowed 282 passing yards and three scoring strikes in their 42-6 away loss to Oregon.
Michael Pennix Jr, QB Washington Huskies (+350)
Pennix Jr. jumped from +550 to +350 on the BetMGM board after throwing four TD passes in the Huskies’ 59-32 home victory over Cal. Pennix Jr. leads the nation in passing yards and TDs this season for the undefeated Huskies.
Next up for Pennix: Washington travels to meet the 3-1 Arizona Wildcats and will have the opportunity to overtake Williams with a big night against a competitive Wildcats group.
Quinn Ewers, QB Texas Longhorns (+600)
Ewers saw his odds improve to +600 after slinging it for 293 yards and a TD in the Longhorns 38-6 thrashing over Baylor. Ewers may not have the impressive numbers as some of the others, but Texas is 4-0, and the sophomore QB hasn’t thrown an interception in 112 attempts in 2023.
Next up for Ewers: Texas welcomes 4-0 Kansas and their high-scoring offense. That could mean more opportunities for Ewers to make up ground on the leaderboard.
Bo Nix, QB Oregon Ducks (+1200)
Nix made the huge leap to the fourth favorite on the BetMGM Heisman leaderboard after a huge victory over No. 19 Colorado. Nix has the 4th highest completion rate in the country and completed 85% of his passes for 276 yards with three scoring strikes Saturday against Colorado.
Next up for Nix: Oregon travels to meet Stanford this Saturday–Nix could be in line for a huge game against a Cardinal defense, allowing 308 passing yards per game.
Jordan Travis, QB Florida State (+1300)
Travis remained in the fifth spot after throwing for 289 yards and a pair of TD passes in the Seminoles 31-24 OT away victory over Clemson. Travis has thrown for 1028 yards and 10 TDs with an additional 94 rushing yards with a pair of TDs on 23 attempts.
Next up for Travis: FSU is off this week and hosts Virginia Tech for a Week 6 matchup.
